Can you imagine the love of the Father?
When he stops all of heaven just to look down,
upon a small group who are worshiping him.
Can you imagine the love of the Father?
When his own son willingly goes to the cross to die,
just so His people can be close to Him again.
Can you imagine the love of the Father?
When everything is going wrong in this world,
that he still has enough compassion to allow us to live.
Can you imagine the love of the Father?
When after all the rejection He\'s received,
He\'s still willing to forgive.
Can you imagine the love of the Father?
When His purpose in creating us was,
just for fellowship.
Can you imagine the love of the Father?
That after you hate him and accuse him falsely,
His arms are still open wide to you.
Can you imagine the love of the Father?

Can you?

Wonderful

God is not a hallucination
I can't imagine a Father who would send me for hell because I didn't believe he existed.

Thats very beautiful, awesome job :) (Smile)
The real problem is that God is still righteous and so he can't stand sin. Believing in God will still send you to hell, because even the most staunch satanist believes that God exists (the difference being that he/she opposes God on other grounds). God required something that would enable Him to look at completely vile humans (all of them), and this was Christ. The whole point of Jesus dying on a cross was not so that the catholics could put the things all over the place and scare everyone witless. It actually goes back to God and his dealings with people in history. Before Christ came, people would have to get rid of their sin by sacrificing something (usually animals). The whole point of Jesus dying on a cross was to do away with all of that (an ultimate sacrifice).

The only problem with all this is that you have to belive that Jesus died for you. Its rather simple, and most people miss it. Going to a church doesn't get you to heaven, neither does giving money to televangilists or any crap like that, or even being good. Noone is good, noone will ever be good; good enough for God that is. Humans are screwed set of people without God.

So, God sending you to hell? Its like you putting trash in the bin; thats what you do with it. Unless its recycled, it is as useless as self serving humans (most of them) are to God.
I didn't mean to sound preachy in any of that, I'm just providing you with information that you are lacking when making the judgement you did.

"I don't need to a compass to tell me which way the wind shines"
You know nothing of my judgement nor whether it is or is not lacking.

Not to mention you know nothing of the shelf lives of comments.

You come over as someone who says the first thing that comes into your head:

"You know nothing of my judgement nor whether it is or is not lacking."

"I can't imagine a Father who would send me for hell because I didn't believe he existed."
From the above statement, you display no clue with regards to God and the system He works by. While it is true that I have no idea what is going through your mind, it is not hard to see where you are coming from when you make a statement like that.

"Not to mention you know nothing of the shelf lives of comments."
Apart from your bad grasp of the English language (which I assume is because you don't care), the only reason I replied was that no one bothered to even read your comment, which I think is pretty sad; considering you took the time to bother writing it. The fact that you responded to what I said in the manner you did shows that either what I have said is still relevant, or that you are really just trying to avoid the subject entirely.

Consider this subject dropped. I don't care to deal with every freaky jesus nut that sees what I write. Stop talking to me or I will report you for harassment.
